I was stoked by the invitation from Samantha Hyman, costume designer for The Great and Terrible & the Small and Meek, to document some of the ephemeral art created for this adaptation of The Wizard of Oz performed in Bartram's Gardens. Camera in hand, I was allowed to creep onto the botanical garden set early, and bear witness up close to the enormous effort and creativity that went into the visuals for this play. In addition to awesome sets, props, and costumes, the performance features enchanting music, whimsical humor, and delicious popcorn.
